Credibility, Research & Government Endorsement
The SA Peace Project utilizes the Maharishi Effect®, a scientifically validated technology for peace and social coherence.
While the Project is a localized social infrastructure initiative for South Australia, the underlying program is supervised by Maharishi Foundation Australia (MFA), which holds rigorous Australian government endorsements for its research, safety, and security programs.
1. National Security & Public Safety Endorsement
In 2020, the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) formally endorsed the charitable purpose of Maharishi Foundation Australia Ltd as:

This endorsement is specifically based on the educational and crime prevention programs known in scientific literature as the Maharishi Effect®.
2. Approved Research Institute (ARI) Status
In 2023, the Australian Government Department of Education approved the Scientific Research Committee of the Maharishi Effect Research Institute (MERI).

“is or may prove to be of value to Australia.”
3. Taxation & Philanthropic Status (DGR)
Following the recognition by the Department of Education, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) granted MFA Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status specifically to conduct scientific research in Australia.
