How Many Jobs are there where
You get Paid to Sit with your Eyes Closed?
The biggest effort you will make doing this public service is to turn up twice a day.
If you are interested in personal growth and inner peace, then this is an ideal opportunity to learn a technique that has been studied inside-out for decades, and get paid while you practise it!
Here’s where it starts:
Role Overview: This is not merely a job; it is a position within the state’s functional social infrastructure, where your internal coherence becomes a public service.
The “Work” Environment This role redefines the concept of professional labor. Instead of physical strain or high-stress multitasking, your “work” involves sitting comfortably and practicing proven mental techniques that naturally reduce stress and increase brain-wave coherence.
We propose that the location for the group should be in Mt Barker, because it provides a large and diversifying pool of potential team members, serves as a bridge between the city and several rural regions and is reasonably quiet.
Key Responsibilities
- Training: You will start with instruction in the Transcendental Meditation technique, 2o minutes twice a day, and gradually learn yoga postures, breathing exercises and advanced meditation techniques over the next 18 months,
- When fully trained you will occupied for 2 hours in the early morning and 2 hours and 20 minutes in the late afternoon.
Attendance: You will be required to attend group practice sessions twice daily, five days a week.
- Rate of Pay: We will be suggesting to the State Government that $60 per hour is an appropriate wage.
Your Contribution to the State
While the work is profoundly easy on the individual, the impact on the State is immense. As a Coherence Professional, you contribute to the “Peace Dividend”—a measurable reduction in societal stress that leads to:
-
Lower Crime Rates
-
Fewer Hospital Admissions
-
Substantial savings to the State budget due to the above effects.
Qualifications:
Any age over 16.
Able to commute to Mt Barker twice a day, 5 days a week.
No prior experience is necessary, as you will be guided through an 18-month “Practitioner’s Journey”.
We provide the training; you provide the presence.
If you can commit to a regular schedule and are looking for a way to make a high-impact contribution to South Australia with your eyes closed, this is the role for you.
Although we have not yet obtained commitment from the South Australian Government to fund this project, we would like to have a list of people who are interested.
Filling this form does not lock you in to anything.
